Prioritizing education

Although we are not yet sure how the situation around the coronavirus crisis will develop over the next few months, we assume that social distancing guidelines will continue to be in place across the university campus. That means that even in September, there will only be limited options for providing teaching and education on campus.

The Faculty Board has decided to prioritize campus-based education (practicals) and first-year education; the Faculty Board will also aim to offer on-campus education to more senior students as the first semester goes on. This policy memorandum (In Dutch, not yet available in English) lists all the principles that the Faculty of Science will apply when prioritizing education. Programme Directors and Programme Coordinators can refer to this prioritization as a guideline when organizing education and teaching.
