From the 1st of September there are three possibilities for defence ceremonies at VU Amsterdam
1. Physical: with - in addition to the committee - a maximum of 30 guests in the room. (reception for up to 40 guests possible within VU Amsterdam)
2. Hybrid: committee members can participate online in the physical promotion in the auditorium (reception for up to 40 guests possible within VU Amsterdam)
3. Online: the entire promotion ceremony is online
For inaugural lectures and farewell speeches, a live stream is always available via our YouTube channel. A maximum of 75 guests are allowed in the room, including the cortège. A reception afterwards within the main building of VU Amsterdam is not possible.
